House Rules
Article 1 – Respect for the Property Please enjoy the studio peacefully and respectfully. Our cats freely use the cat flap to move between spaces; please respect them as they pass through. Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. An ashtray is provided for outdoor use. We have put our hearts into making this space comfortable and welcoming, like a home away from home. Please take care of the equipment and facilities provided. In case of any issue (stains, breakage, squeaky doors, etc.), please inform us before your departure so we can find a solution together.
Article 2 – Kitchen The induction cooktop is stored in the cabinet above the extractor hood. To turn it on, place a pot on it and long-press the power button on the right (circle with a line). Cleaning products are in the bottom drawer under the sink. Use the pots with the provided plastic utensils; avoid metal cutlery to prevent scratching. The countertop is delicate; do not cut directly on it. A cutting board and trivet are available in the pantry area. When cooking, please use the extractor hood and/or open the window. The smoke detector is sensitive; if it goes off, don't panic—firmly long-press the central button on the alarm to deactivate it.
Article 3 – Departure Check-out time is 11:00 AM. Please inform us of your departure time by the previous evening at the latest for our organization. As the turnover time between guests is short, a €40 fee will be charged for departures after 11:00 AM.
Upon departure, please leave the accommodation clean: Kitchen tidied, dishes washed, dried, and put away (no dishes in the sink). Cooktop cleaned and streak-free; pots washed. Used bed linen and towels gathered and set aside. Trash bins emptied. Furniture returned to its original place. The vacuum cleaner is in the storeroom (cellier). Dustpan, broom, and mop are located opposite the sink. A bucket with cleaning products is under the sink. Recyclable waste must be sorted (see Article 11). The large grey bin is near the garden shed at the back of the courtyard. Glass bottles can be placed next to it; we will handle the recycling. If the accommodation is not returned clean, a €50 additional cleaning fee will be charged. Note: The standard cleaning fee covers general sanitizing, linen change, and basic supplies, but not a full cleanup of the premises.
Article 4 – Damage and Breakage Accidents happen; please inform us immediately of any breakage, even if there is no apparent damage. In case of damage or loss, repair or replacement costs will be deducted from the security deposit within two months, upon presentation of receipts.
Article 5 – Keys and Remotes When leaving, please close both roller shutters. You are responsible for the remotes provided. Any loss or breakage will be charged at replacement cost.
Article 6 – WIFI Please comply with HADOPI laws: no illegal downloading or visiting prohibited websites (pornography, racism, incitement to violence, etc.). A digital charter is available. The WiFi booster is plugged into the outlet opposite the toilets.
Article 7 – Parking You may park in the courtyard along the large glass door, leaving enough space for other cars to enter and exit. Street parking is also available. Please always close the gate after your movements.
Article 8 – Garden Furniture & Outdoors Garden furniture is available during sunny days; please handle it with care. The terrace can be slippery in wet weather—use caution! Privacy screens (brise-vue) must be put away in the evening or in case of wind/storms to prevent damage. BBQ use is prohibited.
Article 9 – Swimming Pool During the season (approx. June to mid-September), the pool is shared with the owners. Please keep use quiet and respectful (no shouting or loud music). Diving or jumping is prohibited. Children remain the responsibility of adults. Maximum depth is 1.80m. Swimming is prohibited after 9:00 PM. Bathroom towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels for the pool.
Article 10 – Water, Electricity, and Heating Utilities are included. Any exceptional consumption (e.g., charging an electric vehicle) must be reported and may be billed. Do not touch the thermostat or boiler. You may adjust the thermostatic valves on the radiators if needed. If you are too hot or cold, please let us know so we can adjust it remotely via our app.
Article 11 – Waste Sorting General Waste: White bins in the kitchen and bathroom, then placed in the large grey bin near the garden shed. Recyclables: Yellow-lidded bin next to the grey bin. Compost: Plant-based waste only (peels, coffee grounds, eggshells) in the green bin near the shed. External Containers: Glass, paper, and textiles can be dropped at local collection points (Train station square 200m away, Rue de Châteauvieux 800m away).
Article 12 – Accessibility (PMR)
Access involves a 10cm step, then a second step to the kitchenette. The rest of the interior (living area, WC, bathroom, bedroom, terrace) is on one level. A vehicle can be parked in the courtyard in front of the entrance. The glass door opening is 1.40m; interior doors are 71cm wide.
